Nukku
Park is located in Poowong, South West Gippsland
Victoria.
Poowong
is described by the locals as “the land of milk and
honey” with its rich, fertile and lush pastures. It
is the heart of dairy farming in Gippsland and the venue
for Victoria’s Annual Dairy Expo.
The stud
sits on 32 acres and abounds in wild life with the
picturesque Little Bass River running through it
surrounded by 100 year old gum trees. A work in
progress, the property is now well developed with our
new home, the stables and arena established. The
majority of landscaping is now complete and all our
paddocks have safe secure electric fencing.
Our
little valley offers fertile green grass for most of the
year and provides ideal conditions for our broodmares
and foals. Our pasture hay is cut on the river flats
and is often described as “the best in the district”.
The
Stud’s small band of mares are absolute quality. We aim
to stand out from the crowd by striving for excellence.
All the mares have proven performance pedigrees, all
with quality movement, correct conformation and
trainable temperaments. Noting that the mare can have
an input of up to 65% of the resulting foal, you will
find it difficult to go past our quality mares
who already have the runs on the board. |
